Over the past 10+ years TBAT Innovation has developed a

development on behalf of its clients. Whether as a single company or as a
collaboration from UK or EU sources TBAT has an established record of success.
To illustrate this; for UK grant schemes, TBAT has a success rate of 86% (typical average funding rate for Innovate UK is circa 25% ) having accessed in excess of £12m of grant funding in the past 12 months for individual SMEs and consortia undertaking projects across sectors (transport, energy, health) relating to a variety of technology areas and applications (materials, sensors, devices, systems).

The team have been working on Research & Development (R&D) tax claims for the past 5 years and have a 100% success rate. We use our knowledge of R&D developed in businesses over the past 10+ years of consultancy and as a result of our previous roles in industry to be able to maximise claims.
“Only 3% of eligible manufacturing SMEs in the UK claim R&D Tax Credits”
We’re passionate about business and enabling businesses to innovate; R&D tax credits can provide the financial incentive to drive further development and growth within your business.
Research and Development (R&D) tax credits are a scheme through HM Revenue and Customs which allows companies to claim back corporation tax paid by the business based on how much R&D spend and profit the company has made. This benefit can be in the form of a cash refund or reduced tax bill.
We work with clients large and small to remove the hassle, fear and confusion of making an R&D tax credit claim. Working closely with a client we detail and challenge qualifying R&D projects, support findings with further technical and market research and draft the claim paperwork on their behalf

We have successfully worked for over 10 years with companies large and small across sectors at all stages of this process, enabling informed accelerated growth and diversification.
We work with a business to
understand its current position in terms of technology, market penetration and
strategy, prior to undertaking a strategic review of the markets in which you
currently operate (and how well these are served) and identify and evaluate the
markets you could potentially operate in to specify opportunities for
commercialisation and technology and product development. To underpin any
opportunity identified we would assess the level of resource capability within
the business, to allow opportunities to be matched to core competence.
The market and capability analysis would then inform an evidenced future product development programme with identified and qualified areas for capability expansion in order to fully realise the commercial potential associated with the product development roadmap outlined. We would then support commercialisation of the products developed through the generation and progression of commercial relationships.
We have a direct, pragmatic approach and have experience of successfully working for large and small organisations in the sectors in which we focus on. We therefore have extensive knowledge of key markets and the challenges they are facing
